Hackney Midwest Receives Southeast Kansas Merit Award For Manufacturing |

Hackney A Division of SVC received the Southeast Kansas Merit Award for Manufacturing from the Kansas Department of Commerce during It’s annual Business Appreciation Month Program celebration in June. The Business Appreciation Program identifies companies in four categories (Distribution, Retail, Service, and Manufacturing) which actively promote growth and sponsor their local community, in addition to their normal business activities.

The company sponsors the annual Neewollah Festival and the Kansas Sampler Festival. Employees serve on the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Committee, Junior Achievement, and the Chamber’s Economic Development Task force. Hackney provides employee training in steel and aluminum welding, in addition to tuition reimbursement. |
