Hackney Increases Manufacturing Capabilities |

The Hackney Independence Kansas facility recently increased its manufacturing capabilities by integrating an ALLtra© High Speed CNC Plasma Machine. The CNC plasma consists of a Burny© Controller and Hpyertherm© plasma system. The high-speed plasma machine has a cutting capacity of 8’ x 32’. As design changes and improvements have been made to Hackney products, so have the requirements to economically and repeatably produce their components. The CNC plasma allows tighter tolerances, quicker throughput, increased flexibility, and increased quality. In addition to improved quality, the Hackney Kansas plant will see major cost reductions associated with the CNC plasma. |
